Fox News’ Sean Hannity was hosting his radio program this afternoon when the news hit that the FBI raided the office of President Donald Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen. So how did the pro-Trump conservative commentator react to this bombshell? He described it as Special Counsel Robert Mueller going fishing.
With the New York Times reporting that the FBI seized records related to the hush payment made to Stormy Daniels and other topics and that the feds obtained the search warrant following a referral from Mueller, Hannity brushed off the $130,000 paid to Daniels.
“I do remember Michael saying it publicly and saying to me at the time that in fact he never told the president about this, that it was something that he had pretty wide discretion on his own to handle matters without bringing it to his attention,” the Fox News host declared. “And it might seem unusual to most people but if you’re a billionaire I guess it’s not.”
Hannity’s guest, Fox News contributor Sara Carter, stated that one of the bigger questions with this latest news is that there’s a “sense of mission creep by the special counsel.” She added that this raid could be a way for Mueller to “garner attention” and “find whatever they need to find on the president or anyone else associated with the president.”
“The one thing I think that I agree with Sara wholeheartedly on with Joe [diGenova] is the idea of mission creep but more importantly this opens up an area where it seems that there’s no limit at all into the fishing expedition that Mueller is now engaged in and if he has access to everything that his personal attorney has I can only imagine where that’s going to lead,” Hannity responded.

I feel very out of the loop. Why does the FBI concern itself at all with Trump’s sex affairs or his NDAs? What am I missing? I thought this BS hunt was to show how Americans didn’t really elect Trump because Putin pushed the voting stylus in our hands.

This whole “Cohen committed bank fraud by not disclosing what he would be doing with the money” makes NO sense..first of all, Im supposed to believe he asked the bank to refinance the EXACT amount he supposedly paid this woman, dont believe it..secondly, when you refinance, what you do with the money is NOT the bank’s business, as long as you pay it back.. My uncle refinanced his house a few times, he used the money to buy additional properties
