It's actually not on their behalf. They are now exiting their own territory. Does that sound as if they won?

Since there is some agreement in the press that it was Syria, it seems to me that it is Bashar trying to hold on to the 45% of his own country that he controls and add a bit more. He is an outsider in serious talks about Syria.

The Times moronically says that the U.S. was not even invited to the "peace" talks in Ankara. It's Syria being excluded that is the news. What is so shocking about the U.S. being left out?

America routinely gets suckered in the foreign policy arena. We’re just not that good at it, but nevertheless are addicted to meddling around the world and being led by the nose by our friends who love to push our “let’s spread democracy” buttons.

We are such chumps.

The Turks have helicopters. And gas, etc. It could be a black flag op by them to get rid of Assad. Erdogan is making his move. I have no basis for saying this, but I doubt very seriously that the rebels did it themselves. Erdogan met with Putin and Rouhani last Wednesday and then this gas attack happens. Any connection? Might they have decided to let the West get rid of Assad and then divide up the spoils?

How does a "no-fly" zone work when somebody starts shooting off serious anti-aircraft missiles, or invites their friends from Russia to come over and help out?

It seems that such a situation could rapidly expand into a much more serious confrontation. What would the USA do if Russia declared a no-fly zone over Syria? And backed it up with a salvo of cruise missiles aimed at the airbases and carriers that our airplanes fly from? Then what would we do?

All the neocons are out telling Trump what to do. I hope he does the opposite.

“How is it known that the toxic chemicals were not released as collateral damage from some other kind of attack? “

For THAT matter how is it known that toxic chemicals were released...AT ALL? I have seen an Al Qeida propaganda film and that’s about it.

By the way, I am really angry with the USMC. I spent way too much time sweating in a gas mask and even full suits and gloves...in a desert no less! And all it turns out I needed to be safe from nerve gas was a bandana and a bottled water???

BOHICA

Then you agree with the Russians’ claim that it never even happened. For those who prefer extra simplicity in their conclusions.

Sounds good. But the Democrats are trying to topple Trump as President, as they see their investment in ISIS falling apart in Syria and they need to salvage that operation. And no I’m not crazy. ISIS flourished under Obama, and only died in the last 2 years.

Oh, we are good at it. Our only problem is that the government has to keep lying about who what and why because their agenda, AIN’T the agenda of America. But they are pretty good at getting THEIR needs met.

Why would it get rid of Assad? Looks like it makes him stronger whether it’s real or fake. Except for the new sheriff, that is.

The Turks only care about getting rid of the Kurds. That is their obsession. They attacked pro-government soldiers who were on their way to help the Kurds.

I know it’s Score Cards Upset over there, but that much seems logical.

Assad keeping everyone out of the area is preventing real documentation. And what does that tell you.

I am claiming that the only proof I have seen is a white helmet propaganda video. Maybe you have some other proof. You and McCain, Lindsey Graham and CNN... what proof you have sport?

You listen to the same intelligence agencies that told us Trump hired Russian hookers to pee on Obama’s bed and was a Kremlin tool? You really have that kind of childlike innocence? It would be refreshing if it wasn’t so naive.

Following the always prescient advise of the NYT, President Hillary authorized a no-fly zone in Syria, thus the first of many dogfights between the USAF and the Russian Air Force, Unfortunately, following Russian military doctrine, Putin authorized the use of nuclear weapons; I write this from the Presidential bun ...

You see, the people who got “gassed” are in an Al Qeida area. You might remember Al Qeida...I kinda remember there was this big thing in New York and DC with them a few years ago. I know it’ll come to me in a minute.

Anyway, I remember they weren’t very trustworthy. So I’ll need more than a video from them.

In a related story, Indians waving blankets used to successfully drive large herds of buffalo over cliffs. Who is waving blankets at America today? Don’t be a buffalo.

Logic, not physical proof. We’re being kept from seeing the physical proof.

Why bring up intelligence failures here of various shapes and sizes?

Israel knew the exact spot in the targeted base where the Iranians were lurking. Doesn’t sound like a failure to me.

Frankly, I have been waiting for some time for the Russians and Syrians to reassert Syrian sovereignty over Syrian airspace. I hate No-Fly Zones. They are chicken-sh*t violations of sovereignty that only work on punk-ass countries that can't defend their skies. No one tries that crap on real military powers (or a country protected by a real military power). The Asad government, loathsome as it is, is the recognized Syrian government. So if anyone wants to risk war with Russia over this, let them explain their estimate of the "butcher's bill."

The Russians will block any UNSC Resolution, aptly demonstrating how useless the UN really is.

There isn’t any. And logic says the neocons and globalists want to remove Assad for their own reasons. Mostly because our government is Sunni and takes that side in the moslem civil war.

Logic says Trump declared it was time to leave last week and the interventionist crowd needed something to force him to stay. That is why this “gas attack” happened.

It’s no more real than the USS Maine being blown up by Spain, Gulf of Tonkin, Kuwaiti babies thrown from incubators, Poles attacking a German radio station in 1939, or Germans in WWI catching Belgian babies on their bayonets.
