Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer says the decision by Kinder Morgan to halt all non-essential work and related spending on its Trans Mountain pipeline in the face of continued opposition to its construction is a devastating blow to the Canadian energy sector.

They want to financially destroy Alberta.
I would not shed a tear if somebody lost and bashed the heads of the party members into something squishy.
Perhaps instead they could build a pipeline from Alberta to Montana ...
bummer for them.
must be those Americans that left because Trump was elected.
I’d be willing to consider that option by having my province leave Canada.
Sounds like an example of economic terrorism.
Okay, maybe just punishing the opposition a la 0bama.

It is exactly what it is. The globalists, through the government, want to own Alberta’s resources. They will work to keep the oil in the ground and financially break Alberta until Alberta is willing to relent and sell to the feds for a song.
1. Surging oil supply in the U.S. makes Canadian tar sands extraction less attractive.
2. From what I understand, tar sands operations have never returned to their peak since the devastation of the Fort McMurray wildfires in 2016.
3. The Canadian government DID approve the Enbridge pipeline project between Alberta and Wisconsin within the last year or two -- for whatever that's worth.
4. The oil won't stop flowing as long as the demand is there. If pipeline projects are being canceled, then buy CP Rail and Canadian National Railways stock!
Perhaps we could trade everything east of the Hudson for Alberta.
As an employee of Kinder Morgan, we have been watching this a long time. The observation that Alberta is being locked in with nowhere to go with its production is right on. This is a pipeline EXPANSION along an already existing pipeline, so the only problem is in Vancouver where they don’t want even more tankers showing up. Just like the case of California, I say let’s shut off oil and gas to both California and to BC.
Screw BC and the Chinese.
Send the oil south.
It’s about North American energy security.
That argument alone should set the leftists of BC on fire.
Oil companies build towards the future. They know that low oil prices are not forever and they will lock in contracts when the prices are low.
The Canadian government also approved Kinder Morgan, but then went into musical chairs with the BC and Alberta NDP to keep throwing up regulatory blocks to keep the pipeline from being built.
It’s just the globalists wanting to own the oil. When they succeed in owning the oil, miracles will then happen and we’ll have approval for a thousand pipelines. It’s how the liberals have always worked it. They’ve only been part of the globalist scheme since Trudeau Sr was Prime Minister.
When Jason Kenny gets elected, you can bet your boots that he will be calling Trump for an appointment to bypass the federal liberals.

Play around and elect a closet commie Premier, get commie results.

No surprise here.
Maybe he should seek a Montalta...
Her first words, upon being elected premier was to review the oil royalties from the oil companies. Overnight, literally, ten billion dollars worth of projects were canceled.
I will never forget those first words from her.
I’m personally a Canadian by convenience, not because I believe in my shiathole of a country anymore. If separation becomes an issue, I would vote for it in a second.
We should trade ME-NY-VT-NH-DE-NJ to Canada in exchange for Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan
