I’m not sure that Assad is behind the gas attacks... I’ve seen evidence that these attacks might be false flags. But, having said that, it might be more important to retaliate if for no other reason than to send a signal to Un that we mean business.

This is really really bad.
Israel didn’t follow protocols and Russia thought the US had made the strike. There were Russian planes en route to attack US warships before they figured it out.
Now leaning toward 2 Israeli F-15 over Lebanon launching 8 missiles, 5 of which were downed by S-200 systems. US Intel collection planes (Joint-Rivet) moving into region now that air defenses are on alert for future planning.
