Not worshipping the man. But defending him. He has been persecuted and attacked and underestimated way more than Reagan ever was. And betrayed by his party.

His peers in the beltway are just jealous. This also applies to the Christian leaders who gang up on him like Pharisees: if they had even just a smidgeon of courage Trump did, maybe the church in this country would be in better shape. Is Trump the holiest man? Hardly. But GOD often chooses the very people the world considers “foolish” or “rebellious” to attain to great heights on His behalf.

Maybe to God, an ounce of boldness and moral courage far outweighs a useless PhD on international political theoretical theological whatever.

Trump shines most in his dealings with different cultures and people. All while maintaining an unabashed patriotism. Precisely because he can see NUANCE while holding firm to *conviction.*

Our economy is already going in the right direction and our diplomacy is being carried out from a place of strength.

Is everything always going to be perfect? No. But we are VERY lucky to have him representing us on the world stage.

It is an undeserved gift from God to us...given how wretchedly our country has behaved.

I pray for him everyday. And learn. In many ways, he is a genius.

That is false. Reagan was derided as a senile old has-been, never-was actor of limited mental capacity who would get us all killed in a nuclear war with the Soviet Union. And he absorbed all of that with his trademark hail-fellow-well-met good humor, to the point that voters turned against his detractors, such that the Reagan years have far eclipsed the Eisenhower era as a time of prosperity and contentment in the current imagining, despite the highly contentious atmosphere of the era, and the lacerating commentary to which Reagan was routinely subjected.
