Binge drinking across the United States is at an all time high. Yet, a new report from the Wall Street investment firm Cowen & Company shows that this dangerous alcoholic behavior is on the decline in states that have legalized the leaf in a manner similar to alcohol.
It was just a month ago that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published new data suggesting that more Americans are now engaging in regular binge drinking. What was once considered a foolish exploit of College students has now apparently infiltrated citizens from every demographic and all walks of life. [...]
But the investment analysts at Cowen published a document earlier this week that provides a little hope for an America headed for cirrhosis of the liver. It seems that binge drinking is on the decline in states that have legal marijuana laws on the books. [...]

The Stoners are too wasted to get up off their keisters to go grab an adult beverage.
Everything drops in states that legalize marijuana.
I don’t care if they legalize it or not, and I do think that medical marijuana and the oil should be legal, but one thing I never read about, is how these places are effected by the legalization, with regards to quality of life. I have a friend that lives in Denver. She says that parts of that city are absolutely disgusting with all the kids, hippies and homeless folks, that showed up when they legalized it.
For your interest.
“binge” drinking =
In 2015, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, citing the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, defines binge drinking as “a pattern of drinking that brings a persons blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to 0.08 grams percent or above.
This equals 2 drinks in under one hour, according to the latest MADD propaganda.
By that definition, my grandmother was a binge drinker at Christmas dinner.
binge drinking, feh... it's called friday night
That’s what they call “progress”

Of course it is. Progressives ruin everything they get their filthy hands on. Then they blame conservatives for it.
It seems as if, nobody wants to talk about ancillary effects of marijuana legalization.
Instead, people say marijuana is the same as alcohol, and look at what happened with Prohibition, etc. to justify marijuana being legal.
If everyone using marijuana were responsible, limiting use, etc. similar to how a social drinker doesn’t drink to get drunk, that’s one thing. But if too many use too much marijuana to get high or stoned, to impair their functioning as a responsible adult, that’s yet another thing altogether.
Check your history. Prohibition is a policy begun and nurtured by Progressives.
On the federal level, it is big intrusive government at its worst.
Pot has destroyed the tourist town of Durango, with an army of homeless moochers desiring cash for their next joint
Is it worse than alcohol in those cases?
WEED IS OUR GOD!..LONG LIVE THE WEED!
Boys who smoke cannabis are four inches shorter New study finds that youngsters who regularly smoked marijuana are far shorter than their non-smoking peers
That’s what they call the MSM.
“Binge drinking is defined as consuming five or more drinks for men, or four or more drinks for women, in about two hours.” - https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2018/p0316-binge-drinking.html

Is EVERYONE using alcohol responsible, limiting use, etc?

I don’t need to check my history. I know that.
