Failed presidential candidate Senator John McCain advised President Donald Trump to rejoin the Trans-Pacific partnership trade deal.
Its easy to punish China. Its a lot harder to hold it truly accountable and change its behavior, the senator wrote on Twitter. That requires a real strategy and positive trade agenda, which is why the US should rejoin the #TPP11.
TPP-11 is the new version of the free trade partnership in Asia after Trump withdrew from the deal because it wasnt fair to the United States.
McCain criticized Trump for withdrawing from the TPP trade deal, during a May speech in Australia calling it a serious mistake.

I’m sure there are other ways to achieve that end without completely screwing over the American people.
Its easy to punish China. Its a lot harder to hold it truly accountable and change its behavior,
This is one of the reasons this man was too stupid to be POTUS.
Or, corrupt. Or both.
You cannot hold China accountable and change their behavior without inflicting severe pain upon them.
They are making that very, very clear over the last few days.
It needs repeating!!!!!!!
(I wish that man would hurry up and die already.)
Colonel Bowie weighs in...
(Has anyone actually seen this man? Is he writing these comments or speaking them. I would like to see a current pic of him - like a pic no older than a day.)
I would prefer a pic of him in a coffin....is that bad!
He’s right
Oh I completely agree.
However, I really think America should work at improving our relationship with Vietnam. For real.
I intended to go there as part of a trip I was on a couple years ago, just planning to visit. I have since, concluded that Vietnam may be the first country I have been in, which is completely non-racist. It is a bit remarkable.
Now there are a lot of things I may or may not agree with about the way they do things (I don’t really comment on things, since I’m just a guest there), but it is a very interesting place. I like it there quite a lot.
We should work at improving the relationship between Vietnam and America. It is the one SE Asian country, which seems to be quite independent, from China. There are plenty of people there who do have connections in both countries, but there is real independence in Vietnam, which is not as obvious in some other countries in the area.
There are people working on that relationship now. A US aircraft carrier was there about two months ago. The relationship is improving. TPP may not be the best tool, but I am just saying, something along those lines would be good for the future.
Thanks for your note.

He’s kept alive by the absolute very best medical and health care in the entire world. All paid for by the “unwashed masses” that have to suffer under ObamaCare. IF this traitorous POS was under ObamaCare or standard VA policies, he’d been dead months ago.
I figured he was in a coma by now.
Sure, I totally support improving relations with Vietnam for mutual benefit.
Can’t help but respect a nation that fought off two superpowers and retained its independence.
TPP is a catastropihically flawed treaty that harms the interests of Americans, so another route will have to be found - pass it on that pushing TPP offends American citizens because we know it’s a horrifically bad deal for us.
I agree with you, 100%!!! Senator, John McCain should resign, for he is no longer capable of representing the Voters of the state of Arizona. If McCain cannot be present in the US Senate in Washington, DC...he should immediately resign. What a deadbeat loser, this buffoon is.
I wonder if he realizes that no one listens or heeds any of the hateful & spiteful words he utters. Satan, the Devil himself awaits his arrival into eternal, everlasting “Hell”!!!
Maybe he is missing out on his baby blood shipments from china or something???
Just sayin
Liberal ideas never die. You can defeat them, but they will come back again.
TPP is dead only for now. When the next Democrat POTUS is elected we will join TPP. Just you wait and see. If you think America is a toilet now, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
I believe this is a Weekend At McCains type deal. Hes dead and someone is tweeting etc in his name. McConnell and the rino leaders want his vote.
OR, he saw the writing on the wall with all of the investigations going on and decided it would be better to be “dying” so that everyone would feel sorry for him and stop looking into all of his VERY questionable dealings in the Mid-East. Besides look at all the sympathy and accolades his buddy Ted Kennedy got when he was diagnosed with cancer...
And yes, he still manages to vote whenever there is an opportunity to stick a finger into the eye of the conservatives who have supported him, over and over, all these years. His handlers trained him well.
Part of me pains me to say that....but you've been a disgrace to your Country...IMO.
That is what it looks like to me. I don’t think the plan was ever for McCain to win. That is why he suspended his campaign when it started getting close. I do not think any swamp critter thought Palin would be as popular as a socialist RINO. Remember that these are the people who preferable Clinton over Trump. I believe that Palin’s popularity was a miscalculation on McCain’s part.
Thank you, zombie-Cain. You may resume your search for brains.
John WHO?
I believe that Palins popularity was a miscalculation on McCains part.
I agree, but even more so.
I believe that McStain realized too late that any after election trickery to remove Palin from his administration would expose the (at that time concealed) RINO GOPe Deep Swamp Globalist bastards.
So, to save the Swamp, McStain "suspended" his "campaign" and threw the election, as a loss to the Magic Negro, figuring it would save the RINO Deep Swamp, which it did.
