No, not the David Hogg, of Parkland, who has become one of the most recognizable figures of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas student-led #NeverAgain movement. It’s the 16-year-old David Hogg from Charlotte., N.C.
That Hogg has come forward after being mistaken on social media and harassed by his namesake’s foes. Parkland’s Hogg is 17 years old and has voiced efforts to further regulate guns — but he stresses he doesn’t want to ban them.
The North Carolina Hogg wrote an opinion piece this week for The Wall Street Journal titled “I’m David Hogg, and I Support Gun Rights.”
