Cynthia Nixon is spending the day traveling the New York State Thruway from Syracuse to Rochester as part of her upstate campaign swing. We caught up with her in between stops, where the actor and underdog candidate talked about how the loss of Hillary Clinton for President in 2016 helped inspire her to run for governor and why she thinks Andrew Cuomo is not doing enough to help the state.
Nixon says in addition to running in the Democratic Party primary she’s also actively seeking the nomination of the Working Families Party, a group that gave Cuomo the nomination four years ago but has had its differences with the incumbent governor.

Meanwhile, no republican that I am aware of has tossed their hat into the ring. I guess they will give the election to little Andy again. At least Nixon is trying. The NY GOP, not so much.
She is a “married” lesbian that is best know for a show dedicated to sex. I personally couldn’t stomach the show, but Cynthia may find that viewers don’t equate to voters...at least I hope so.
May she have Hillarys success as well.

Her run is further evidence that Andrew Cuomo is vulnerable. He only received 53% in the last election. The stench of corruption follows him wherever he goes. Yet he’ll be re-elected anyway, thanks to the brain-dead NY GOP who will probably nominate the hopeless hack John DeFransisco.
I guess the Hillary domino effect will continue.
Vote for the Lesbo, not Cuomo.
