Still Bleeding: The DNC’s Financial Situation Just Got Worsef

The Democratic National Committee under Tom Perez and Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) has been anything but successful. The committee, which has undergone multiple purges in staff, including the firing of their top fundraiser, has failed to catch up with their Republican counterparts. They’re a whopping $6 million in debt and they just took out a $2 million loan to keep the lights on. It’s a total disaster and the bleeding hasn’t stopped (via Daily Caller):

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) reported more than $162,000 in additional debt in an amended FEC report filed this week.

The DNC originally reported $6.1 million in debt in its March 2018 FEC report filed on March 20 but amended that report on Monday to include an additional $162,368.64 in debt, bringing the DNC’s total debt to just under $6.3 million.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has zero debt, according to the committee’s most recent FEC filings.

The DNC tried to bury their disastrous finances during the State of the Union, which did not go undetected.

Kenneth P. Vogel ✔ @kenvogel Interesting timing: @DNC files its @FEC report in the middle of the #SOTU, revealing that it raised $5.2M last month, but finished the year with $6.1M in debt. http://docquery.fec.gov/cgi-bin/forms/C00010603/1202494/ … 11:20 PM - Jan 30, 2018

‘Oh no worries. The Soros’s of the world will shore them up’.

Not to mention all the unions, Hollywood, Democrat controlled media, social media, etc. Traditional donations are but a drop in the bucket.

Was this not the case years back when the Clinton campaign effectively took control of all DNC operations including finance?

The current DNC has lost the know how to steal

Music to my ears.

These fools who think they’re so d@mn smart are completely incompetent at fundraising and managing the funds they have. But Trump is an idiot and the Rats would do a much better job running this country—not!

Pffft...

That debt is just Tom Steyer’s lunch money. There are any number of willing tech barons who will step in at the drop of a hat. In addition, Google, Facebook, YouTube, and all the others will contribute tens of millions in in-kind contributions, and then you have ABCNBCCBSNYT who will continue their non-stop campaign support of their blood brothers at the DNC.

Finally, in addition to all the above, we have to contend with Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan.

I’d say the Democrats are in GREAT shape.

That just makes them more dependent on Tom Steyer and George Soros.

The Dems will have plenty of money from guys/gals like this. “The DNC is broke” is a sidebar and won’t make any difference in the midterms.

They have to be or they wouldn’t be wasting money on off year billboards and radio ads. I was amazed at the Dem ads I saw in Georgia & South Carolina last year. Democrats were literally burning money attacking Republicans not on any ballot.

Has the DNC looked into Payday loans? Those are only about 650% APR.

The DNC is always in debt. They have their people steal hundreds of millions and billions from gov’t agencies which they launder the money thru groups controlled by the DNC which then uses the money to pay for the campaigns against America.
