JUST IN: Two law enforcement sources say authorities have preliminarily identified the YouTube shooter as Nasim Aghdam, a woman with previous addresses in the Southern California cities of Riverside and San Diego.

I heard on the radio that her father had reported her missing and warned she might do something violent. The police found her sleeping in her car prior to this incident and let her go despite the warning.

From her website, she was a “Persian vegan” who was upset with YouTube over their demonitization of her videos. While apparently of Iranian ethnicity, she didn’t seem Muslim in outlook. Perhaps this upset some Muslims and led to YouTube restricting her videos.

Preventing her from going to YouTube would definitely be an imposition on her Constitutional rights. (/s) And people like her are probably as common out there as bedbugs.
