I agree. It's mostly this way when it's leftist targets. When conservatives are getting shot up, there's much less of it, and the insensitivity of the folks on DU making light of the situation is remarked upon.
That being said, I did smile at some of the jokes, but I think it makes FR look bad to outsiders.
