Trooper Leigha Genduso admitted on her State Police application that she experimented with pot as a teenager, but never mentioned that she cut up bales of marijuana and sold it in 10-pound packages covered in gift-wrapping.
Still, a clue on Gendusos 2012 application could have exposed her past and raises questions about how thoroughly she was vetted during the hiring process. A North Reading address that Genduso listed as her former residence was forfeited to the government in a federal drug case a case in which Genduso took the witness stand in 2007 and recounted her role in a marijuana-trafficking operation. Genduso, who dated and lived with a top commander at the time she applied to be a trooper, is now at the center of an internal investigation into how she slipped through the hiring process.

I believe Bucci is out and no he can’t open a legal dispensary as he is a convicted criminal. Like how convicted drug dealers also cannot become a pharmacist.

We had a Trooper applicant, lead local police on a high speed chase and throw drugs out of his car, and still get hired. His Mama was a high ranking Trooper and was the right skin color. He subsequently was fired for committing insurance fraud by setting his own car on fire.

Nowadays law enforcement are loaded with husband and wife teams, entire families and friends, all on the payroll. It's very widespread.
I think the first part of that sentence answers the last part of that sentence.
My hometown police forces was involved in a controversy because some cops were investigating other cops who were running criminal enterprises from the police force. The investigating cops were shut down and forced to resign. The dirty cops eventually fell under the weight of the feds.
