Could someone give me an example of “afrocentric math”?
The idea is to get black students to take STEM classes, so that they can take advantage of Affirmative Action to secure high-paying jobs.

Two and two before.
Yes, that is what I was wondering too. I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around this idea that math can have any sort of cultural component in it. It's abstract stuff, and I don't see how you make it "African."
Give me twenty million taxpayer dollars and I will have explained to you afrocentric math.
Ojimbwi lives in a mud hut in the Sudan. Next to his hut is a pile of cattle dung that is 10 feet high with a base of 12 feet and is conical in shape.
Find the center of mass for this pile of dung.
The great beauty of mathematics is its lack of subjectivity. Follow the rules and you get the correct answer. I am truly blessed, I love being a mathematician. Linear algebra can be taught in many different ways, if you are into differential geometry then you will teach it in a different manner than someone who likes abstract algebra. Both subject-centric teaching methods are just as valid. Race has no place in mathematics.
