I have long refused to answer any of their nosy Social Engineering questions thrown into the Census. No one has ever tried to fine me.
And I refuse to answer the “American Community Survey” at all. I did get a visit from a Census goon, but told him to get of my property.
They have sent me that stupid long Census form the past two times and I have only answered the first few questions that are covered in the Constitution. Both times some jerk has come to my door telling me that I had to answer the rest and that I MUST answer his questions yet I have refused.
Each time I told them I answered only the constitutional questions and would not answer anything else and nothing has ever happened.
There are several groups out there willing to help pick a fight and defend the first person to be fined by the Census Bureau and I really think they know they will lose once it hits the SCOTUS, so they do not bother.
