Every one of the 44 House Democrats who hired Pakistan-born IT aides who later allegedly made “unauthorized access” to congressional data appears to have chosen to exempt them from background checks, according to congressional documents. ..... The media isn’t even flirting on the edges with this story. This one, should it break, will be every bit as outrageous as the entire domestic spying we have to hear about every day. I really, really want to hear how these Awans were hired far above their capability, retained, and given unrestrained access to 1/5th of Congess’ IT networks for a decade.
It will start with “well, there was no intention”.
