Simple, humane solution: As CIC, Deploy NG and Reserves to the border areas and order them to pick off "Los Coyotes" right in front of the invaders. Head shots only for psychological effect.
Whereupon if the invaders do the smart thing and run south, they don't get rounded up and sent to a tent jail with a barbed wire fence, etc.
They could of course turn themselves in but they would find that they're going home, where they can bear witness that the gringos are shooting invaders, especially "Los Coyotes".

I may be wrong in my understanding of the sustained power of Obama's executive order. But I don't think so. Trump has eliminated many of Obama's previous eos.
So I do think Trump is using it as a bargaining chip until it no longer serves him. The Democrats know this too and understand that if Trump shuts down Obama's executive order they will frame Trump as a monster to the Hispanic people. And using that to not be swayed. Yet we know Trump. He is full of surprises, turning the tables, and most of all WINNING.
It's going to be an interesting road in front of us. This is mainly why so many presidents punted on this issue. But no previous president has Trumps balls and clarity. ;D
