The David Hogg experiment would be captivating if we were all just spectators, but the latest twist in the spectacle reveals a destructive element sure to metastasize quickly.
Last Wednesday, Fox News host Laura Ingraham tweeted, “David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA ... totally predictable given acceptance rates.)”

When his behavior is brought up in conversation, they shout, “He watched his friends die,” as if that nukes all rational debate.
In 10 or 20 years, David Hogg the man may have real goals and aspirations. We must hope that today’s David Hogg, the 17-year-old experiment of the left, has not destroyed his potential.
I thought Hogg got rejected because of his sad 1270 out of 2400 SAT score?
He watched his friends die? No he didn’t. He said himself he was out of school that day, which raises red flags to me.
My prediction: He’s going to piss off the wrong person and get a serious beating. He certainly needs it.

With the new SAT it would be 1270 out of 1600. Not great, but not bad.
I looked it up and it is the 80th percentile. For a white male (or an Asian) this would not be enough to get into a top school.
Hogg has posts on Reddit specifically whining about how poor his SAT score is though.
He wasn’t there when it happened.
Seriously? It does reflect the maturity of politicians these days.
No she’s not - Hogg viciously attacked NRA members and sitting congressman with hate speech and vile rhetoric.
That editorials and talking heads are defending him is crossing the line.
That he’s untouchable from even simple mocking because he feels entitled to college because he tweet good with a B minus average is stupid and an anti-American concept.

Oh... I thought the SAT people decided to drop the essay part and were going back to the old two-test 1600 scoring system. But, I checked online, and it appears they are GOING to do that but hadn't.
I thought 1270/1600--decent, not earth shattering. 1270/2400... not good at all. Junior college stuff.

eventually Hogg will come to the understanding that being a white male in America these days, especially one trying to get into college etc, is an albatross no matter how much of a left winger you are...

So he wants to be treated like an adult and be respected when he expresses his opinion but then he recedes into the protection of childhood when he is challenged or criticized? Wrong.
I’m trying to figure out how this kid got on campus in the middle of an active shooter event. There had to be some kind of perimeter established.
It’s out of 1600. My daughter just took it not too ling ago.
