NEW YORK — The George Soros-financed Media Matters for America progressive activist group has been helping to fuel an advertising boycott targeting Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show following Twitter comments the media star made about Parkland shooting survivor and antigun activist David Hogg. Think Progress, the media project of the Soros-funded Center for American Progress, has also been using its platform to hype the boycott.
On Thursday, Ingraham tweeted an apology to Hogg, expressing her regret “for any upset or hurt my tweet caused him or any of the brave victims of Parkland.”
The “Ingraham Angle” host had earlier tweeted a Daily Wire story titled, “Gun Rights Provocateur David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied.” Ingraham adder her own comment: “David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it.”

This whole business is heart-breaking. I knew when she got a TV show that she would be painting an even much bigger, brighter target on her back. Sad that advertisers are so quick to run for cover. But, without them, she has no show, so she had to make an effort to appease them. I just hope we don’t lose her, and this blows over because she is so consistently on the right side and about the smartest person on the air anywhere to articulate her view.

I say let’s just do away with the 1st Amendment, round up all the conservatives and put them in reeducation camps. Then all will be well with the world. /sar
But we already knew this. If a snotty-nosed little 17 year old can get corporate CEOs to drop a load in their Depends, America is worse off than we think it is. It had to be somebody with lots of big bucks. It had to be Little Georgie the Nazi B*tch.
I sense sarcasm in this "apology". She hurt Hogg boy's wittle feewings. "Brave victims"? What the hell is that?
I stopped following her. So sad. I thought she would be the last person to crumble. Let it be a lesson. Oh, I have made a note of the sponsors. Dumped them too.
