U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley has confirmed that going forward, the U.S. will pay no more than 25 percent of its peacekeeping costs.
Associated Press reported she told a Security Council meeting this week, Peacekeeping is a shared responsibility. All of us have a role to play, and all of us must step up.
The international group assessed the United States 28.5 percent of the $7.3 billion spending this year.
But that broke the 25 percent limit established in U.S. law and Haley informed the government officials in the U.N. thats the cap, starting with this years peacekeeping budget.
But still, the second largest contributor, China, is told to pay only a bit over 10 percent.
In response, AP reported, spokesmen for Assembly President Miroslav Lajcak and U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres noted the 193 U.N. member states will decide the budget.
Currently, the U.N. peacekeeping operations involve some 105,000 troops and police in places ranging from Haiti to India and Pakistan.

Good. While we’re at it, boot their asses out of the U.S. They are anti-freedom and anti-sovereignty.
UN headquarters should be in Moscow, Bejing, or Tehran.
You may decide the budget, and we reserve the right to refuse to give you a plugged nickel. Just what are you going to do in the event we refuse, Mr. Secretary?

Port-au-Prince.
Cut the UN to the bone...
We need to leave the UN.
After our withdrawal, the UN should have 90 days to vacate US soil before their office building in Manhattan becomes a place to test fire munitions.
May I suggest the U.N. relocating to Kandahar?

I disagree. There are many advantages to having the UN here....just not where it is now. Might I suggest a spot along our new Southern Border Wall, in a spot isolated enough to not cause any traffic problems. We could find it with the sale of the existing spot.
I keep reading about how the German economy is booming, maybe instead of subsidizing a bunch of camel humping rapists they should pick up more of their share of defense.
Yep, it’s basically an employment agency for third world soldiers and WE’RE paying 28% of the bill.
Wouldn’t that be a hoot to see?
