The attorney representing porn star Stormy Daniels suggested his client would be open to settling her lawsuit against President Trump outside of court.
If they came to you with a settlement in this case, would you accept it? CBS This Mornings Anthony Mason asked attorney Michael Avenatti. I think we would consider it; I would converse with my client. It would depend on the terms of a settlement, Avenatti responded. But at this point, I dont see how the case gets resolved short of the truth coming out.
Daniels, 39, is suing Trump over a non-disclosure agreement stemming from an extra-marital one-night stand she allegedly had with the president in 2006. Her lawyer argues the agreement is not binding since it was not signed by Trump himself.
The popular adult-film actress also claims she and her infant daughter were threatened in a Las Vegas parking lot to keep quiet about the affair. She was paid $130,000 by Trump lawyer Michael Cohen late in the 2016 campaign to stay silent about the affair.
Were only getting started. Michael Cohen has zero credibility, Avenatti said, adding that Cohen has a history of thuggish behavior and trying to step on little people.
He also commented that the reason Trump has not tweeted about Ms. Daniels is because the allegations are true.
Host Gayle King challenged the attorney a bit more, remarking that the salacious details of the case are jarring for many Americans, and asking him to tell her why the case should matter to voters.
It should matter to every American because its all about the cover-up, Avenatti said. Its about the lies and deceit.
The attorney representing porn star Stormy Daniels...
...
She’s not a star or an actress. She’s a sex worker.
Well, we’ve established what you are....now we’re just negotiating price. Winston Churchhill
Recipe for a Stormy Daniels cocktail:
1 part Jack Daniels
2 parts breast implant gel
3 parts bullsh!t
Mix vigorously.
So, judge pours them out, no deposition of the President of the United States on this tramps accusation and now they want to settle.
This is legal extortion and should not be able to happen.
Trump should ask for $150K.
Of COURSE you would, you slimeball, but here’s the problem: your bitch client already GOT one settlement, but then she ignored the terms of that settlement, so who would be foolish enough to think she’d honor the terms of another one?
The first time is a “settlement,” the second time it’s what you call “blackmail.”
I would agree...going forward had no real end-game to it. I think the $130k could be yanked back at this point. And the failure to carry out the agreement...probably will cost her several million. Whoever is backing her....will let her know shortly that other than covering legal fees...that’s the end of her assistance.
My guess is that she’ll slide out of public view by October, and disappear. Just appearing in strip clubs....it’ll attract a bunch of guys to wear Trump-masks and poke fun at her.
Assuming they settled for say $2 Million, what’s to stop George Soros or Tom Steyer from telling her not to shut up for $4 Million?
There will be no end to this scam.
The hot shot lawyer is showing weakness.
LOL.
Gimme, gimme...
I wonder how much she will have to give Trump in the settlement?
How much will she pay to Trump’s favorite charity in this settlement ?
I thought she didn’t like it?
All she had to say is it was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. and the check would have been written.
She and her ambulance chasing attorney can go pound sand. My guess that could be a lot of sand considering, ya think?
That is Lawyer Speak for, THE CASE IS FALLING APART, HELP!!!!
It was always about suckering more money out of him.
Suing to tell her side of the story when shes already done it. Makes no sense to me.
kris Kardashion, new grandmother to another Stormi, wants the porn star out of the spotlight pronto since she hates they share a name. Maybe she will help make it happen.
Were only getting started. Michael Cohen has zero credibility”
