Israel kicked out zero Russian diplomats.
Jerusalems desire to stay in Moscows good graces side is understandable. For a start, many Israeli citizens have deep roots in Russia. More importantly, the government of Vladimir Putin has become a major player in regional affairs, having boots on the ground and jets in the air only a few miles from Israels borders in Syria.
But Israels neutrality is being tested by the Wests harsh response to the poisoning of ex-Russian double spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia earlier this month, which much of the world blames Russia for.
The British government said it expects Jerusalem to take a clear stand, but whether Israel will continue to remain silent on the matter will ultimately depend on Washington.

It’s been almost a month now and the British government has provided no proof that Russia did this. It’s looking more and more like a false flag operation from the same ‘intelligence’ services who came up with the false Trump Dossier and Iraq WMD claims. Israel is right to not to overreact like others have.
They aren’t called ‘perfidious Albion’ for no reason.
There is no interest in Israel in offending Russia. Its Syria’s patron, one million Israelis are either of Russian Jewish or Russian origin and Israel’s national security interests require the country to maintain close friendly ties with Moscow. Israel’s dealings with Russia are not driven by the extreme Russophobia that has seized the West and from Jerusalem’s perspective, the Skripal matter is irrelevant from a long term geo-political perspective and not worth damaging Russia-Israel ties over.
Gee Wally, and after Britian has been such a stalwart in Israels stuggle against the Palestinians? /s
Russia knows better than to do that kind of shit to Israeli citizens. Mossad has a very long reach, and Putin is likely not beyond that reach; and no one would ever be able to link his death to Mossad.
Throughout Israel’s history it’s had to target it’s opponents living in other countries so it’s not hard to see why they’d be reluctant to take sides against Russia on this one.
The UK has for years been more friendly to the arabs than to Israel. There’s no advantage to Israel to support the UK in this affair. And, besides, is the UK really an ally of Israel?
What makes you think that the evidence has not been provided? Just look at the countries which immediately signed up to this - Germany, which has long positioned itself as Russia's closest friend in Western Europe, Hungary, needing to stay on good terms with Russia for its own reasons, other EU states with no reason to do Britain any favours at a time of soured relations over Brexit, the U.S. - it beggars belief that all these would have come on board so promptly unless they had been provided with overwhelming evidence.

Jerusalem? The Brit's are asking a favor or Israel's government in Jerusalem? They should look for Israel's government in Tel Aviv, ask for help there if they can find it.
How about expelling the Pamiatniks and Russian mafioso that came to Israel with false papers. I’m sure they represent an oligarch or two, if not Russia itself.
