Mueller is in place specifically to chase phantoms. It is nothing but Kabuki theater, except with the purpose of discrediting Trump. The more ephemeral the accusation, the more assiduous Mueller must be to chase it down. Should he actually ensnare anyone in his net, like Flynn, it will be a bonus. The more ephemeral, the higher the regard for Mueller for his expert sleuthing capability. It’s a Hollywood “B” movie.
