Newly uncovered text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page suggest a possible coordination between high-ranking officials at the Obama White House, CIA, FBI, Justice Department and former Senate Democratic leadership in the early stages of the investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, according to GOP congressional investigators on Wednesday.
Republican investigators provided documents to Fox News which -- they say -- strongly suggest coordination between former President Barack Obamas Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, then-Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, and CIA Director John Brennan which they say would contradict the Obama administrations public stance about its hand in the process.
Page texted Strzok on Aug. 2, 2016, saying: Make sure you can lawfully protect what you sign. Just thinking about congress, foia, etc. You probably know better than me.
A text message from Strzok to Page on Aug. 3 described former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe as being concerned with information control related to the initial investigation into the Trump campaign. According to a report from the New York Times, Brennan was sent to Capitol Hill around the same time to brief members of Congress on the possibility of election interference.
Days later, on Aug. 8, 2016, Strzok texted Page: Internal joint cyber cd intel piece for D, scenesetter for McDonough brief, Trainor [head of FBI cyber division] directed all cyber info be pulled. Id let Bill and Jim hammer it out first, though it would be best for D to have it before the Wed WH session.
In the texts, D referred to FBI Director James Comey, and and McDonough referred to Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, the GOP investigators said.

AG Sessions said he’s appointed a DOJ prosecutor to the DOJ IG Michael Horowitz in an interview with Shanon Bream.
Cong. Bob Goodlatte mentioned the grand jury in an interview with Hannity.
Cat is out of the bag and all the Rats know. They’re acting scared to death.
Sorry you think it’s akin to Hitler in the Bunker with the Allies closing in.
Try to keep up. You’re welcome.
I should offer them legal counsel? WTF? I wouldn’t offer them an umbrella in a rainstorm. Plus I’m not a lawyer. However, I don’t engage in rank speculation like some do.
I'm trying, but the Sleepy Sessions Fan Club has more excuses than Carter has liver pills ;-)
“I’m trying, but the Sleepy Sessions Fan Club has more excuses than Carter has liver pills ;-)”
Well, as I said, the genie is out of the bottle. AG Sessions had installed John Huber and referenced him early in March. Now, he’s announced he is on The Job!
Told ya!
Cool! Ping me when there's an indictment.
Reading over the comments: The yawns and “nothing will ever be done” attitude will not help those who are actually trying to get the criminals found out and charged. Hannity has been on this for as long as it’s been known and messing with the head of the FBI can’t be something anyone would want to tackle, but he is and has... so have others.. Sara, DeSantis, Nunes, and others...
If Trump had not been elected, we’d still not know the extent of it, and nothing would have been done to stop it.
As it is... turn the nays and yawns into positive action. A silent bunch of doubting conservatives won’t accomplish much... but a loud bunch that won’t quit until the dirt heap in Washington are taken in and charged... will help move those who are trying.. and being attacked in the process.. but that hasn’t stopped them.. we voted... and now to see that the swamp is really actually cleaned out!
.........I think one large reason is that as long as they are singing like canaries to the satisfaction of prosecutors and investigators they can go home at night and be with the spouse and kids or girlfriend rather than locked up in a jail cell.
