No, Hillary, it’s the red states that are ‘dynamic’
The Washington Times ^ | March 25,2018 | By Stephen Moore and Arthur Laffer

The move from blue to red states — almost 1,000 people every day — has been one of the greatest demographic stories in American history. If you go to states like Arizona, Florida, Tennessee and Texas these days, all you see is out of blue state license plates.

Pretty much the same pattern holds true for jobs. The job gains in the red states carried by the widest margins by Mr. Trump had about twice the job creation rate as the bluest states carried by Mrs. Clinton.

Hillary Clinton mentioned GDP numbers. While it is true that the blue states of the two coasts and several of the Midwestern states are richer than the redder states of the South and mountain regions over recent decades, she failed to mention the giant transfer of wealth from Clinton to Trump states.

Getting these statistics right — about where the growth and dynamism is really happening in America — is important because if we want to be a prosperous nation, we need to learn what works and what doesn’t.

We need national economic policies that have been shown to work at the state level. Donald Trump wants to make America look like Florida and Tennessee. Hillary Clinton wanted to make America look more like Illinois and Connecticut. Maybe that’s the real reason why she lost.

I don’t know if an influx of ex-blue staters with their blue state political mind is such a good thing.

Most continue to vote for Democrats and will ruin every state..

Example... Colorado..I left in 2000..moved there in 1980..from New York..

I new not to vote ever for a democrat...

It took thirty years before I learned it made no difference at the Federal Level

The country is done unless Trump gets another Trumpster to run in 2024..and win..

Just look at what they did to Colorado. Liberalism is a communicable mental disease. It can happen to your state.

Yeah it happened to California before all the back east types moved here. Reagan was governor and we had freedom unimaginable in California today. As a teenager in the 1960s I could walk into almost any store and buy ammo without anyone batting an eye while my .22 rifle sat in a rack in my truck outside. Those were the days.

Yep, liberals need conservatives a lot more than conservatives need liberals.

Happened here in Washington State as well...I was born and raised here and it was always a socially more liberal state than the deep south, but the politicians were sane and for the most part, had decent business sense. Much more libertarian than anything - but in the 80s, when the California liberals starting infiltrating, everything went sideways and now Seattle is one step behind San Fran as far as out of control housing prices, over-regulation of businesses, and a complete inability to deal with the homeless/addict crisis in any way...I fear the whole state may soon be lost but I am not sure where to run!

My son worked in Seattle for a few months last Summer and he was surprised by the homeless situation there.

Remember when she criticized Obama for his “bitter-clingers” remarks?

Except it is the conservative Californians that are leaving the state, not the liberals.

Look at the voting patterns over the past twenty-five years. The Republicans went from 39% to 26% of registered voters, lost a dozen House seats, no longer competitive in the Senate races, don’t hold any state executive offices (and no chance of getting any soon), and Dems have a super majority in the legislature (in 1994 it was even).

Doesn’t happen if liberals leave the state. It does happen when conservative voters die or leave the state and are replaced with liberal voters.

ILLary won't admit the truth...that she won the areas/states that contain 90% of this nation's welfare parasites,85% of its wetbacks,99% of its perverts and freaks and 99.5% of its cold blooded murderers.

I have talked to those who grew up here in NJ and the state now is unrecognizable. They sh*t so much here they now are moving to North Carolina and other Southern States. It literally wants to make any Conservative American cry. Liberalism is a filthy curse and virus carried by humans.

“My son worked in Seattle for a few months last Summer and he was surprised by the homeless situation there.”

It is getting worse by the day. The City Council wants to set up “safe injection sites” and the City Prosecutor won’t file charges against anyone, no matter how dangerous or disgusting their behavior. The police have their hands tied and are ready to quit en masse.

With the summer tourist season just around the corner, it will only be a matter of time before something happens. Breaks my heart to see what has happened to the city where I lived and worked for many years. I almost never go downtown anymore and we are looking at leaving the state completely when my husband retires.

I lived in Colorado in the late 70’s, with the exception of Boulder, it was a pretty conservative state.

Ironically, many of those who flee the overtaxed liberal utopias for flyover country vote for the same brand of politicians who ruined the place they fled from.

Cary, North Carolina is reportedly an acronym.

“1000 per day” That is the equivalent of 5 house seats every 10 year census.
