NO FUNDING FOR Planned Parenthood. And we WILL get the wall.
All Aboard the Omnibus, Isaac Green ^ | 3/25/18 | American Dream 246

Posted on 03/24/2018 11:29:51 PM PDT by American Dream 246

Please forgive my english .. I am one who was disgusted yesterday with that omnibus bill but according to Isaac Green, who DID read the bill, a lot of good news in there. He gives details and parts of the bill that says that here is NO funding for ABORTION - NO ABORTION can be financed by government money!!! Also here is 80 Billions for the army engineers that is funded so it can be used to build the wall.

And so much more. Please listen to this video. Everything Isaac Green says is highighted on the right side of the screen: the part of the omnibus bill he is talking about.

If Isaac is correct then the democrats are more than stupid to think they got a great deal!! But we need to pass the word so all those who are giving up on President Trump should be aware that Trump may be ever smarter than we ever thought!

Let's pray we are right - MAGA!

Trump is brilliant and has the ability to make the enemy think they won, and while they are gloating, he comes in for the kill.

I’ve noticed that he doesn’t do anything for no reason.

I’m willing to wait and see what the ultimate end is before rushing in to judge and condemn him when I don’t have a clue to all the facts.

Good post. Kid is good. The issue is . . . while the money going to Planned Parenthood is NOT to be used for abortion "DIRECTLY" as written it is still supporting abortion through whatever term they want to use, fungibilty, whatever. The link to the video, 1 minute long tries to explain that point.

Fungibility: The Planned Parenthood Method

Hmmm .. let’s hope President Trump will outsmart PP and will find somewhere a legal problem that will finally outlaw them.

Thanks! Great breaking news!

Every inch we can take does matter! It’s great to finally see incrementalism used against the commies for a change!

I’m totally against abortion unless it aborts our current legislative system and starts over with real people.

These idiots on both sides needs to be replaced.

We should get mean enough to try to outlive 'em and teach younger folks how to replace 'em. ;-)

THIS JUST IN: President Sends Letter to House Designating Emergency Requirement of ALL Funding
Twitter Account | March 24, 2018 | John Salisbury / FR Posted by saywhatagain

ITEM---The President designated as an "emergency requirement" ALL funding so designated by the Congress in the Act pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, for the accounts referenced in section 7058(d) (Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...

ITEM --- Trump has basically told the House....."See ya in court!"

================================

The details (hat tip John Salisbury):

1. Congress allocates money. The President spends the allocated money.

2. Once Congress allocates money, their job is oversight. They don't spend the money and have no say HOW it gets spent.

3. Once the President is given the money, he has a number of choices in spending it....some of the money is fungible and some isn't. 4. By Trump declaring a Human Rights Emergency AND has notified Congress that he's invoking the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, this opens up new spending options. 6. President Trump has just communicated that he has the authority to NOT spend any funds he doesn't deem necessary and will return them to the US Treasury. For example: funds the House allocated for Planned Parenthood? Trump can simply not allocate the funds

7. Trump's declarations also make some funds fungible. For instance if he determines that building a Wall on the Southern Border is a defense against Human Trafficking? He can move funds from anywhere else in the Defense Dept Allocation & simply build the Wall.

8. Congress is powerless to stop cash reallocations AND cannot stop the DOD from taking measures under a presidential-declared Emergency.

9. Despite the House's strict language about the Border Wall, it is outweighed by Trump's declaration of a State of Emergency.

10. Amen

Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985

I believe the major features of that act were found to be unconstitutional in 1986. The president cannot order cuts that Congress authorized and which he had signed off on.

So the public funding pays their administrative costs freeing up other funds to pay for abortions. Abortions that wouldn’t have happened without the omnibus dollars. Wake up and smell the coffee

Just remember even this “source” is not in the mind of Trump.....the prez has many tricks up his sleeve.

For now, Trump has told the Dems where to shove their Omnibus.

***Obama ... Did that all the time***

Yes! No one that I know of has ever asked where 0bama got those millions of (dollars) he bundled on a pallet and flew to Iran; and that is just one example. Of course, no one ever challenged anything he did ... unlike Trump: D.C. is looking for a judge corrupt enough to declare Trump breathing as unconstitutional.

Regardless, Congress cannot force the Executive to spend funds that were ‘allocated’ and not ‘budgeted’.

Should an activist judiciary attempt to force the Executive to their will, it’s a given that SCOTUS will decide the Executive has the prerogative, else the judiciary would usurp the powers of the presidency which cannot happen under the Constitution.

The only remedy Congress would have is impeachment and removal which could only occur under a conviction involving high crimes and misdemeanors of which there are none.

Bottom line, Trump wins.
