Kids are typically expected to take a back seat when it comes to national politics and policy, but with what's going on right now that cannot happen any longer. I'm 16 years old, I'm a junior high school student, I cannot vote. That does not mean I can't do anything. It's time for students, everywhere, across the country, whether you're in a blue state or red state, to get involved, to speak up in your own local communities. It's time that students have this conversation at the dinner table with their parents and let them know that enough is enough!

Shut up,kid.

Hey kid! Shaddup and eat your peas!
Not meaning to go all Godwin on you but every totalitarian regime of the 20th century included a youth movement component. Leftists always have room for some teen-aged useful idiot.
No one has ever been shot, at least in my lifetime.
I'm not about to take advice regarding my God given Constitutional rights from a child that can't figure out whether they're a boy or a girl.
Eat your peas!
>> I’m 16 years old, I’m a junior high school student
Isn’t junior high 7th and 8th grade? Possibly including 9th grade?
I was 15 when I began my junior YEAR of high school (11th grade).
Then again the Floriduh shooter and at least one of the protesters were 19 year old students at that school and with a much class time as Kamera Hogg has been missing, he’s on track to being in school there until he’s 19 as well.
>>Far more kids are killed by driving and texting. Maybe we should raise the driving age to 21 and not allow kids to have cell phones. That should be the dinner conversation that occurs.
They are too busy sexting photos and eating Tide Pods to have THAT discussion.
I graduated HS at 17. Was 13 and 14 in Jr. HS.
Why is this boy in Jr. HS at 16?
It’s amazing to me to read so many crime stories that include people 19-21 y/o that are still in HS.
Yeah kid - when I was 16, I was stupid too - not as stupid as you but stupid enough - it goes with the developing hormones when one decides whether to become a man or a snowflake....
If he doesn't understand the difference between "Junior High School" and "High School Junior" we're supposed to take his opinion about law and national policy seriously?
First fill that empty head with education, something you are not getting from your school. Snowflakes with life experience, funny! mommy is still wiping your a## and daddy is letting you live in his house
OK, Mr. 16 Year Old Know-It-All, answer me this: How many of the school shooters have been NRA members?
(crickets)
Me too. There was no such thing as Jr. High in our schools; K-8, 9-12. I turned 18 while away at basic training.
