From what I am reading, the president as commander-in-chief of the military, can use funds from the record breaking big military funding for the wall. All he needs to do is declare wall is necessary to defend the homeland.

Doesn’t the bill specify that he cannot build walls that are REAL walls or look anything like the prototypes he visited in California?
It absolutely boggles my mind that some scumbag actually GOT that into a bill. And I’ll repeat what I said earlier - that scumbag, whoever it is, should be brought up on treason charges... Monday.

And rob the military of its much needed upgrades? Wonder how that’s going to go over? While I support the wall wholeheartedly, I understand such a wall will not stop an ICBM from hitting the heartland or other such military aggression.

Though we may like the outcome, it would seem to be another example of “It’s not Fascism when *WE* do it”.
Regardless of the “Buy Congress passed...”, it wasn’t 1) theirs to ‘give away’ 2) Exec. is to faithfully execute the law (like I disagree w/ the whole Pres war for 90 days BS...if ‘national security’, go to Congress and do it PROPERLY\legally)
