Schools nationwide are debating President Trumps call to arm teachers and security guards with guns while one Pennsylvania school is getting attention for its last line of defense.
Blue Mountain School District Superintendent David Helsel made headlines recently after testifying to lawmakers at the state capitol that his students could be armed with rocks in case of an active shooter lockdown.

Just attach a cylinder to a fire extinguisher to fire the rocks, but don’t put more than ten rocks in or its illegal!

30 kids hitting a shooter with 30 rocks would probably stop the shooter. It would be better than cowering in a corner
Are they going to secure those rocks in a rock safe? I mean after all, rocks become potentially lethal projectiles in the wrong hands. Also, will teachers overwhelming use these rocks against minorities?
back in the seventies we had a small armory inside the school. i guess that teaching gun safety in PA is no longer considered important.
