The president has used the DACA wedge far too much. There are many more reasons than that to veto this monstrosity, such as adding another trillion to the national debt, and a long list a pork barrel spending items thrown in by a long list of legislators.

No, he hasn’t. He’s intentionally eating away at part of the RAT base and, in turn, suggesting that, in general, they don’t give a damn about ANY of their precious special interest groups, but merely use them as vote fodder.
It’s a brilliant move, and he should keep doing it.
I believe that you are missing the political strategy of blaming a veto on the lack of DACA
I don’t like this part>
SEC. 512. (a) IN GENERAL.None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available to the Department of Defense in this Act may be used to construct, renovate, or expand any facility in the United States, its territories, or possessions to house any individual detained at United States Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for the purposes of detention or imprisonment in the custody or under the control of the Department of Defense.

Yes, many of the DACA kids are gangbangers and/or fly the Mexican flag and demonstrate saying si se puede promoting a reconquista ideology. There are many, many things in this monstrous bill that justify vetoing not Least the restrictions preventing building one foot of the wall.
Yeah. That DACA line made me wince. ugh
