Yes police are bound by law but no more so than any citizen.
In this incident I again say don’t run from police in the middle of the night. This guy could have stopped and surrendered at any point. He did not. When asked to show his hands he did not. I do not expect police to wait until they are fired upon to respond
We will have to wait to see what results come of this fatal incident.
