That's a great plan...but it has one FATAL flaw: It assumes Ryan and Mitch are on Trump's side. They are not.

Yes you are correct but it would put intense pressure on them to get a spending Bill Trump would not veto. Trump must veto this bill it is a complete sale out of this base. Insures the GOP stay home on election day and insures Trump is impeached and a one term president. I agree with the poster that said if Trump must go down let him go down fighting.

I agree...and I don't think he sees this aspect of it. That's what he doesn't see about the gun control issue. He CANNOT lose his base. If the base stays home in Nov of 2018...dude is toast. He may be impeached...ok...I doubt very seriously he will be removed...but his agenda is dead and he's a one termer.

The dims have learned their lesson from 2016. From now on, they will no longer run ANYONE that leaves the blacks sitting at home on election day in PA, OH, WI or MI. Florida is LOST because of Maria and PR...and Scott's idiotic gun measures which are going to cause people to stay home.

So, I agree...but I don't think he gets it.
