My take on Bolton FWIW, is that whatever you might say about him, he’s fundamentally a patriot even if he’s misguided at times. The ‘neo-con’ label can be misused. To me a neo-con is one who supports interventionism for reasons that advance a global agenda rather than our own national interests. My sense is that this is not Bolton’s motivation. I think Bolton’s problem is that he has been naïve regarding the degree to which many of the international problems we face have actually been largely enabled by deep state traitors in our own government.
Are there legitimate reasons to use military force? Sure. For example, does China represent a potential threat to our national security? Absolutely, but much less so when they’re not being enabled by traitors attached to our own government.
So, if you’re unaware of the degree to which our own deep state has been enabling the enemy, you might be forgiven for advocating a more militaristic approach to dealing with threats like NK or China that can be dealt with more effectively, and with less human and economic cost, by taking on the deep state.
