used 'very unique' batteries purchased from Asia

So those batteries were not just 'unique', they were 'very unique'.

He must have found them on some secret dark-web site that nobody knows about, like eBay or Alibaba.

Assault batteries, perhaps?

I'm certainly impressed...

Maybe it was from one of those Samsung Galaxy battery batches that have long been recalled? Sans English labeling?

I’m more concerned about how a 23 year old loser gets ahold of explosives and detonation devices.

I noticed the same thing. In proper grammar, the adjective unique should not be modified via another adjective. Something is either unique, or it is not unique. There are not varying degrees of unique.

“’very unique’ batteries purchased from Asia”

Isn’t that where the majority of consumer goods originate anyway?

Unique batteries from Asia might mean they were from Chinese eBay sellers and actually made their rated capacity.

Actually, that is a bit harsh - I actually HAVE found one Chinese brand that typically runs about 80% of their mAH rating...
