A timely book by Peter Schweizer, Secret Empires, explains how Chinese companies purchased U.S. politicians to gain trade advantages. When you understand this process, you better understand why those same politicians today are against the Trump trade policy that is antithetical to their purchased interests.
Reminder: U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Tom Donohue is warning President Trump not to take any trade action against China or he will unleash his purchased control agents within congress and financial media to destroy his presidency.
Allow me to re-emphasize:
All opposition to President Trump stems from the underlying financial and economic policy. All opposition is about money!
When you ask the why question five times you end up discovering the financial motive for all opposition. It doesnt matter who the group is; the opposition is ultimately about money. There are trillions at stake.
Donohue takes-in hundreds of millions in payments from multinational corporations who hold a vested interest in keeping the U.S. manufacturing economy subservient to China. The U.S. CoC then turns those corporate funds into lobbyist payments to DC politicians for legislative action that benefits their Chinese trade deals. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the #1 lobbyist in DC; there are trillions at stake.

I have to get this book.
I disagree I would estimate 50% of Freepers are globalist Free Traitors.
Many on here definitely put the Republican Party ahead of what our Constitutional Republic is and demands of us as Citizens.
This is a result of the 17th Amendment where you end up with the Parties in control.. with out sized influences and Senator’s out to bid to K street, much like football teams in the national felons League everybody gets emotionally involved and forgets what this is all about, till they get offended or finds a new hobby..
“There are trillions at stake.”

There’s nothing radical about knowing without action.
The book is at Costco. Only about 1/4 way thru and it’s truly shocking. “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
Exactly true and thank you for posting. This view is nneded by all USAians...
If we had enough real USA corporations and real USAians, they would buy USA and this would never have happened.
Unfortunately, to many living in USA buy things based upon price; buying foreign products rather than Made In USA.
Since DC heavily taxes and regulates USA products, foreign products made with far less tax/regulation, are cheaper.
Buy USA, or perish.
“Follow the money”
Is America at last waking? If so, we NEED a louder alarm clock!!
House findings re: russia/election
Interesting and wondrous it has taken so long since Nixon to figure this out. Why else let China get away with this nonsense for all these decades?
So the POTUS controls tariff policy correct? Tariffs don’t have to go through Congress? They must hate that.
So what will be their next salvo? I fear if this is the case with GOP Senators, we may get many of them voting on impeachment.
Russia is a smaller problem than China, which occupies part of DC.
DC is kind’a like Berlin, after WWII. There is the Chinese, Saudi Arabia (etc.) zones. USA has a small corner on the roof of the Congressional Building...
Better find a picture of GWB because he is up to his neck in this as well with his Globalist positions and actions.
Disgraceful
