Here’s what they are proposing to include:
UW-Stevens Point proposes expanding academic programs that have demonstrated value and demand in the region, including:
Chemical Engineering
Computer Information Systems
Conservation Law Enforcement
Finance
Fire Science
Graphic Design
Management
Marketing
These programs have existed as options and would expand to majors. In addition, new bachelors (or advanced) degree programs are proposed in:
Aquaculture/Aquaponics
Captive Wildlife
Ecosystem Design and Remediation
Environmental Engineering
Geographic Information Science
Master of Business Administration
Master of Natural Resources
Doctor of Physical Therapy
And all of that makes sense.
Eventually the education bubble will burst!
Sounds very wise!
I expect the NEA to try and block it.
The majors may be dropped but student will still be required to take some type of freshman English and first year history courses will be offered but eliminating majors with few if any students certainly makes sense.
Lots of career path options for wannabe eco-facists.
