NO WAY!! I fled California about 5 years ago because of all the vibrant diversity and the benefits from living around the noble homeless, and Irvine, Huntington and Laguna were the only good parts left! I always loved Huntington Beach. I basically grew up there. It was a paradise years ago. Amazing what is happening, and so fast.

I lived in HB for 25 years. Left 10 years ago and never looked back. Sad what has happened to the State.

Liberalism and Progressivism is literally a cancer that destroys anything and everything it touches, yo. In a sense, you have just testified to such with your comment and observation. California, along with a host of other examples such as Chicago, Detroit, etc., are prime examples of that actual cancer destroying this country.

I have friends in Huntington B. They told this is the last bastion of beautiful scenery in Socal and the residents there dont want the place to end up like Santa Cruz...a legendary beach turned liberal sh*thole.

Irvine, Huntington Beach, & Laguna Niguel are putting together NIMBY resolutions as fast as they can, “emergency meetings” & all. But the homeless & mentally ill explosion has in fact impacted them already. I rode a county bus line along the coast a few months back. One fellow rider reeked of urine and could barely maneuver his ailing oversized frame on & off the bus - I guessed he was living in the weeds in some ravine near the Fashion Island shopping center. Another rider made it his business to stand in front of others and stare at them - he obviously had mental issues. Haven’t ridden that line since.
