I think Robert Muellers days are numbered - What the democrats and some of the GOP don't understand about president Trump is he is baiting them to impeach him.

Why would he do such a thing? Well unlike the rest of the politicians and elite in this country president Trump has an extraordinary sense of the zeitgeist of a huge amount of the population. Firing Mueller will force the democrats to run on impeachment which will destroy any chance they have at making meaningful midterm gains.

America likes president Trump and president Trump loves America. Further president Trump thrives in an environment of progressives wailing and gnashing. He is so much more adroit and intelligent than the typical DC asshat. He thinks in Manhattan developer timelines, these mental giants can't figure out one month in advance.

Mueller is straight out of the X-Files he has no base, Americans don't care about him or what he is investigating (okay the 36% that instinctively votes for the crazy club aside). He is the perfect foil. a dusty dinosaur with no voice, save ... James Comey. I think Mueller is gone in the next 7 days.

Consider the motions that DiGenova can file already against “the investigators.” There is a long list of motions that Joe already understands against the very investigators that Mueller would need to make his case. There is “no there there” as someone once texted, but if they manufacture one this will all come out in a court of law and it will get UGLY fast. Do not forget that the defense in any criminal proceeding can also compel witnesses to testify.

Frankly, I hope General Flynn withdraws his plea and moves forward with this plan now that Judge Sullivan has demanded full discovery. This is the furthest thing from the fantasies of the MSM.....

Problem is, there are whole bunch of ‘Pubbies Congresscritters who will vote to impeach, and even some Senators who will vote to convict.
The Swamp is generations deep, and despite Trump’s efforts, it will take a generation or more to drain it.
