Syria isn't ruled by Iran and Alawites haven't been the cannon fodder to attackIsrael -- the last war they had was in the early 80s.

Assad does not bomb Christians - he protects them. Bluntly you want to removeAssad and you condemn the Christians of Syria, including the Christians of Damascus (the first place Christians were called CHRISTians) to death. Why would you want to do that?
