Assad is nothing if not a survivor. One double-tough SOB. Everyone was gunning for him. Some still are. Yet he walks among his soldiers as if the war is over. With a Turkish Flag flying over Afrin and Kurds on the move, I doubt if the war is over.
He’s also a murderous thug.
Israel will deal with him soon enough.
