Trump never mentions McConnell being against the wall, so I agree with Ann on this.
Actually l have reached the conclusion the spectacle of Trump viewing the prototypes is either to placate us or keep us from losing hope that they will actually be built. I guess both can be true.
I don’t think Ann ever built a wall. We had a retaining wall built last September. It took at least a year to decide on type of material, who was going to build it and talk to our neighbors and get the paperwork done. This after years of talk on did we need to replace the existing wall after it had fallen down 10 years previous and we just spent a few days of putting it back together.
Trump is a builder, he knows what he’s doing.
In another six months, if Trump hasn’t actually begun building the wall, then Ann can shout this at the top of her lungs.

A lawyer’s answer to “Should we ...” or “Could we...” or “Can we...” will always be “No.”
Anything you do creates liability and risk and the lawyer will most likely advise against it.
Don’t talk to the lawyer until the thing is done. Or, if you must, you should say “What sort of risks and liabilities will ‘X’ create when we do it?” Don’t actually ask his advice on whether or not it should be done.

I have done contracting and subcontracting on government construction projects for 40 years.
I MIGHT start on one this year and it has been in the planning phase for five years. It is less than a half million dollars.
Ann should stick with what she knows, whatever that is.
Sometimes she is incredibly stupid. If you are going to spend $25 billion of taxpayers dollars you DO build prototypes and you DO figure out ahead of time what will work and what will not work.
