Sunday on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said he disagreed with how former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was fired by Attorney General Sessions two days before he was eligible for his pension.
Rubio said, “I don’t like the way it happened. He should have been allowed to finish through the weekend.”

Signalling his virtue . . . yet again. OK Marco, we know that you are a sweet little guy who has the hearts of some of those mommies out there would would have been so proud for you to be the son they never had. We get it. now, go away. the adults have business to take care of.
Rubio should be allowed to retire.
Heaven help us when it becomes his “TURN” to run for POTUS.
I voted for McCain and Romney to my deep regret. I will not ever vote for Rubio. Make that me and my extended family of 25 voters in Bucks County PA.

I would ask LITTLE Marco: “If McCabe did the things he did and the President affected was Obama how quickly would you demand he be fired?”
“The FBI itself recommended this firing. An Obama appointed IG recommended McCabe’s firing. Sessions took their advice. What do you know that tells you this was a bad decision?”
Somebody programmed the Memorizer Bunny to spew establishment talking points.
You should become familiar with it as THAT ALONE is the reason McCabe was fired by fellow FBI employees.
Congress could not surviveliving under the CANDOR STANARD but it should try. America would be a better place.

Rubio is what is wrong with the GOP. Their main philosophy is “don’t hold anyone responsible for their despicable actions.”

That McCabe did nothing wrong and is the victim of political revenge, Trump should be impeached.

Wouldn’t surprise me a bit.
But anyway, it seems to me that the whole to-do may basically be a “tempest in a teapot,” because:
If he only needs 48 more hours of federal service to qualify for his full law-enforcement pension (beginning at age 50), then probably his friends on Capitol Hill, or perhaps even in the DC police department, can arrange for him to have a short-term job as a uniformed cop-on-the-beat. Or maybe a friendly federal judge would hire him as a security officer.

For sure. A federal lawsuit over a civil service termination can percolate in the court system for years.
