Sessions is the quintessential Eagle Scout. He will follow the rules down to the last subclause and will not make his move until every "t" has been crossed and every "i" dotted.
We saw the first results of this approach last Friday in dealing with Andrew McCabe, this century's prime example of a "cookie full of arsenic."
Sessions waited until the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility (which is run by Assistant Director Candice Will, who was appointed by Robert Mueller, of all people) recommended that McCabe be fired. He then had McCabe officially informed beforehand, following established procedure to the letter.
This comes under the rubric of "strategy," a concept unfortunately foreign to too many active conservatives. A large number of cons recognize only one course of action: a headlong charge against the closest target while howling at the top of their lungs. Not only do they dismiss any more subtle form of action, but they often attack those engaging in it of cowardice or corruption, or of being an "Alinskyite-Obamaist commie stooge" despite the fact that their kamikaze runs usually end up heading over the nearest cliff.
So it was with Sessions, who has been routinely dismissed as "paid off," being "asleep under his desk," or as "part of the swamp."
Sessions took his time, did things according to the book, and dealt the swamp a good, stiff blow while leaving its denizens little recourse but to throw tantrums in the media, which they have been doing the weekend long.

President Trump:
Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else.

This article is not about Trump. Nor is the firing of McCabe. All Sessions did was what certain entities recommended and he acted upon it. Super!
McCabe will still get his stupid pension. He may have to work a few years before he gets it. He can always scrape plastic bottles from the ocean near GITMO.
That said, there is no need to head out to pick on Trump supporter FReepers. Many people don’t have time to follow all the intricacies of the Q thread. I do happen to look at them a couple times a day. You will not see me making fun or trolling on those threads, though there are some who do that.
Pushing people away with insults and accusations because they have yet to see much Sessions action is silly. There has not been much for people to see yet.
Anyway,I hope you are right. I want these criminals punished.
I have always liked Sessions because of his strong immigration stance. That said, he is from Alabama, so I know very little about his career in the past. So sue me;^)
Pick on? Really? C'mon man. I headed out to join the discussion. Let's not get all sensitive now.
McCabe will still get his stupid pension.
McCabe will get more than that. I have perfect faith in that. In fact, by next month, we will probably have forgotten his name, what with all the other drama heading our way. Pension shmension.
Pushing people away with insults and accusations because they have yet to see much Sessions action is silly. There has not been much for people to see yet.
Actually, there's a lot to see if you know where to look. I don't mean to sound superior, but things are being set up of which you may not be aware. Executive Orders being some of the main ones. I won't go into all of it here, but the info can be found on the Q threads. I do encourage you to spend more time there. I've learned quite a lot and there are some brilliant minds working on research and analyticals.
So sue me;^)
I won't sue you. I'm not litigious. And you seem like a nice enough chap. I mean that. ThankQ for taking the time to discourse with me on this contentious topic. I hope that our conversation helped others to at least look into things deeper and learn. That's how I learn. By reading other, more knowledgeable people's conversation, debate, and argument. The truth can be arrived at that way. I don't claim to be brilliant, despite my superior rabble rousing skills, by the way.
Anyway, talk to you later, goodman. No hard feelings. :)
The proof will be in the Pudding.
Notice that the Media is beginning to attack him again now that things are starting to move against the Deep State Obama sycophants.
I’ll take a wait and see position for the time being.
Of course it is.
According many here who've repeatedly blamed and questioned Trump for hiring Sessions as they paint Sessions as the enemy and attack Trump daily for not firing Sessions.
Indeed. I made an FR donation in honor of the firing this weekend. Doesn't mean Session is off the hook or any more trusted than he was a week ago. I would give him a tiny smidgen of credibility for it, but he has a deep hole of lack of credibility to dig himself out of. One shovelfull is not going to fill that hole.
There isn’t any need for a special counsel. I suspect the grand juries are/have met to deal with half a dozen or so of these criminals. It is time to prosecute. Fingers crossed.
Q played golf against Kim Jong-un. And won.
“While this article has some truth in it, on this specific action, Sessions is far from redeemed...We have a weakened AG and McCabe and Rosenstein, as well as other Deep Staters have been running the FBI and DOJ with no AG supervision or direction.”
I think the strategy underway may have anticipated these developments. You’ll recall that after Sessions recused himself, his Trump appointed DAG, Rosenstein appointed Mueller (who Trump had interviewed the previous day).
Also remember that it was the Democrats who wanted Comey fired since they blamed him for costing Hillary the election. They insisted on the OIG investigation, which Trump went along with and which has implicated only Democrats in criminal behavior. The Dems are going to be burned by the very Horowitz investigation that they themselves insisted on. They also demanded the Special Counsel appointment. Watch them get burned on that too.
I don’t think we are giving the good guys enough credit here. I think they are more clever and thorough than most think.
And DIDN'T get fired.
Q saw Hillary Clinton naked.
And lived.
I suspect you may be right. Scuttlebutt is Little Rock and Clinton Foundation.
Fingers and toes crossed.
“Firing Sessions presents no political problem, other than having Rosenstein in charge and waiting on another confirmation. “
By the same token, the logical conclusion of Trump’s many firing would be that Trump can make nomination errors, that there are many swamp creatures around him and so Sessions can not be trusted. Instead, your conclusion is that Sessions can be trusted as long as not fired. Sorry I don’t see how your logic would pass any BS detector.
Thanks.
And wet birds fly at night.
THANKS. AMEN!
Very.
{joking}
Aye Aye Admiral.
;-)
Qx read your hello and grinned. Thanks. Appreciated and a "God's best to you" back at ya.
We think they are more clever than most think, too.
