Sessions is the quintessential Eagle Scout. He will follow the rules down to the last subclause and will not make his move until every "t" has been crossed and every "i" dotted.
We saw the first results of this approach last Friday in dealing with Andrew McCabe, this century's prime example of a "cookie full of arsenic."
Sessions waited until the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility (which is run by Assistant Director Candice Will, who was appointed by Robert Mueller, of all people) recommended that McCabe be fired. He then had McCabe officially informed beforehand, following established procedure to the letter.
This comes under the rubric of "strategy," a concept unfortunately foreign to too many active conservatives. A large number of cons recognize only one course of action: a headlong charge against the closest target while howling at the top of their lungs. Not only do they dismiss any more subtle form of action, but they often attack those engaging in it of cowardice or corruption, or of being an "Alinskyite-Obamaist commie stooge" despite the fact that their kamikaze runs usually end up heading over the nearest cliff.
So it was with Sessions, who has been routinely dismissed as "paid off," being "asleep under his desk," or as "part of the swamp."
Sessions took his time, did things according to the book, and dealt the swamp a good, stiff blow while leaving its denizens little recourse but to throw tantrums in the media, which they have been doing the weekend long.

Q has already been to Mars; that's why there are no signs of life.
No based upon what is an acceptable legal criteria that the ensures that the right thing gets done.
Never stop trying, you are definitely winning! :-)
I’ve heard his nickname used to be “The Silent Executioner”.
What do my ears have to do with it? Frankly, I'm glad I can't hear your anti-Trump caterwauling. Reading it is aggravating enough. Mr. Magoo is part of the Trump team until he is not. Until then I will assume that the President supports him. I support The Donald therefore I support his Attorney General.
Just how I roll. You should too. Get on the train and join us. We have a republic to save, goodman.
Unless you're playing 4D chess to throw off the enemy? If so, carry on. I have not seen your orders.
McCabe was ripe for the picking. They had the leverage and they pulled the trigger.
McCabe, the quintessential insider, probably had the goods on those above him. He was the one managing all of the dark secrets.
He might even had tried his play on Wray and it back-fired. Waiting for the book to be written on all of this.
At the end of the day, the darkness of heart that is McCabe is that he set out to railroad a good man, General Flynn.
I expect if Rosenstein needs cover right now, he will direct Mueller to file with the bench to reverse the conviction.
Go to Youtube to watch Jeff Sessions being sworn in as AG.
Take a good look at his wife. She looks like a woman who has guts, brains, and takes no prisoners. Most of all, you will see that she stands with him knowing the critical mission ahead. They are like bookends. Very interesting couple.
I have nothing against you bagster. It would seem that you aren’t particularly forthcoming with truth. You are pretty good at rabble rousing and wielding the holier than though sword though.

Seems you set out to be the person that “piles on” even though you wanted to be the grand protector of the Trumpster. Just a little showman. Yes!
Trump piled on Sessions too. 3D chess or not. It happened.
Nope. His doom is at hand. As well as others'.
I've fired people and recommended criminal charges as a Govt employee. One must make sure all the paperwork is in order. In this case, I.G. reports, recommendations from controlling bodies, testimony, snitches, etc. Can't just point the finger and go, "You're fired." like as if this was a reality show, right?
Things will happen when they are supposed to happen. If we can't see the trend and where things are headed by reading between the lines and sussing out information on our own, then we will be like these anti Sessions Chicken Littles. Stomping our foot and demanding action. We don't want to ge like that. Right?
Trust Sessions.
Trust the plan.
Full control.
Q
:)
Thanks for your reply. I was aware of this report but had never heard him or anyone else specify what statute they thought should be controlling. It is probably just me, but I would normally give more credence to the opinion of a practicing attorney with a track record of accomplishments than to someone playing legal expert on TV. In any event, these are interesting times and we will just have to see how things ultimately turn out.
Pretty soon a big formal indictment will hit, and that will signal a long row of dominoes falling. There’s a reason why Hillary said what she said about losing... the evidence is everywhere and overwhelming.
If that does NOT happen by mid summer, I’m OUT, then I’ll join all the Sessions bashing and will watch the Dems take over the House.
But, I have faith that good men are working hard, and they are doing far more than we can see or even imagine.
I've heard scuttlebutt that the judge in the case is considering vacating the plea bargain as we speak. And if not, The Donald plans on pardoning him. Look for those developments around the bend as possibilities.
Also, are you sure Flynn has been "convicted?" I know he entered a plea but is he technically convicted? I'm not a hundred percent sure on that point. I know sentencing has been postponed which seems to indicate a conviction, but stil not a hundred on it. Serious question.
I like your Rosenstein cover theory.
Regarding your tagline, Gresham’s Law doesn’t apply only to currency.
Nor I you. Strictly business, not personal. :)
It would seem that you arent particularly forthcoming with truth.
That's a right fancy way of calling somebody a liar. Nice. I am open to your posting a list of my lies, if you can provide it. I may make factual errors and have been wrong a time or two in my life, but I don't lie. Never. Ever.
You are pretty good at rabble rousing
We finally agree on something.
and wielding the holier than though sword though.
I prefer to call it my terrible, swift sword of truth, justice, and the American way. And I can guarantee you that I'm not "holier than though (sic)." Maybe it's a tie. However, on this topic, I am confident that I'm right and you are wrong. So maybe it's a "righter than though (sic)" sword?
Seems you set out to be the person that piles on even though you wanted to be the grand protector of the Trumpster. Just a little showman. Yes!
Do you consider me a one man dogpile? My gung fu is obviously superior, but let's not get carried away here. Of course I expected to be "dogpiled" by piping up in favor of Sessions. I'm no dummy. I see how these threads go. I have avoided them. But tonight I'm feeling feisty and decided to try my gung fu on the mob. I think it went rather well. Don't you?
Defending Trump is a bad thing now? I don't get you.
I'm sorry, but those of us who have actually been paying attention might find it a bit difficult to assign any credibility to anyone who could open an article with that statement.
“Mr. Magoo is part of the Trump team until he is not. Until then I will assume that the President supports him. I support The Donald therefore I support his Attorney General.”
Just look at the train wreck caused by Sessions, his recusal on almost everything including the Clinton investigation (!), the loss of a senate seat, the constant feeding to the media hysteria thanks to Mueller’s witch hunt, the Obama thugs’ at-your-face attitude towards the President because they have zero fear of the DOJ...
And then wake up and face it, Sessions is an utter disaster.
Interesting times indeed! Jarrett seems to know what he is talking about and I truly hope he is right.
Hi Jocko long time, tell Quix I said hello.
Mr Sessions is one of our Southern Gentlemen, trust me when i say he will come after the deep state and nail the door shut.Just takes time, I love the banter with Trump and Sessions. They have got this, Hope abounds.
Cohn= Fired
Tillerson= Fired
Amarosa= Fired
Sessions= Not Fired.
I will support Sessions until he is fired, then, like Cohn, Tillerson, and Amarosa, I will NOT support him any longer. The Donald, as you point out, has no problem firing anybody, with the exception of Mueller, who presents a huge political problem.
If he truly thought Sessions was worthless and working against him, he would be gone. This I am sure of. Firing Sessions presents no political problem, other than having Rosenstein in charge and waiting on another confirmation. Though he would and should fire Rosenstein at the same time. So ask yourself. Why doesn't he fire Sessions?
And then wake up and face it, Sessions is an utter disaster.
I am here to tell you that I am not the one who needs to wake up, here.
And on that, confidence is high.
