STATEMENT BY FORMER IG MICHAEL R. BROMWICH

I have been involved in Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) disciplinary matters since 1994. I have never before seen the type of rush to judgment – and rush to summary punishment – that we have witnessed in this case. The result of this deplorable rush to judgment is to terminate Mr. McCabe before his long-anticipated retirement and deny him of the full pension and retirement benefits he would have otherwise earned through his 21 years of devoted service to the FBI and this country. This is simply not the way such matters are generally handled in the DOJ or the FBI.

It is deeply disturbing.

Anything short of taking forever is “rushed” to these sluggards. McCabe’s paid shill is basically saying that in his day, the FBI/DoJ was sclerotic and incompetent. Given that his client was playing “beat the clock”, charging Sessions of all people with rushing is laughable.

Government bureaucracies, especially the FBI, grind and grind on every matter interminably, as a means of feather-bedding, manipulating results, letting favored crooks go free longer, burying their own corruption, and as an expression of indecisiveness. This sclerosis is why the FBI in particular, and the government in general are so ineffective. Results: dead people. They don’t have time and resources to stop Nickolas Cruz types, when presented with evidence of clear and present danger.

I believe the cancer is mostly located in that vital organ called the 7th Floor - the headquarters of the FBI.

And I notice in other articles that a major focus of FBI headquarters (James Comey) is now in greater diversity of the Bureau. As we positively know, diversity brings about dilution and weakness and diminishing of the mission of the agency - not good.

By all accounts proper due process was afforded Mr.?McCabe in accordance with the IG investigative handbook.

All this pissing and moaning is for naught.

Mr. McCabe is now a throughly discredited witness and of no use to anyone. He should probably avoid late night walks alone...

“Obama politicized the DOJ and the FBI, as well as the IRS, all to the harm and detriment of the United States......”

As well as DOD, Energy, DHS, and every other agency on the US government. It was a long step toward the old commissar system of the USSR.

McCabe is the worst type of leader. No wonder he was a tool of the Democrats.

"....This is simply not the way such matters are generally handled in the DOJ or the FBI....."

There is a new sheriff in town and he's doing things differently from what the Deep State wants him to do.

All of this hand-wringing by the democRATS and the Left about what Trump is doing, is precisely the reason the voters wanted Trump in the Oval Office.

They voters were tired of the Swamp doing it their way and leaving the interests of the taxpaying public at the bottom of the pile.

Trump has moved law and order and the American worker to the top of the list. Lawbreaking globalists are livid.

God Bless Trump this Sunday morning.

Yeah, the 17th Amendment was a disaster for the constitutional republic as it was designed by the Founders. There was a reason the Founders stipulated that the Senate must be comprised of members selected by the respective state legislatures.

Oh, how will the poor man eat?

He'll be living in a cardboard shack by the tracks!

Apparently he's worth $11,000,000.

I guess he bought a lot of cattle futures on his meager government salary.

Wife's a doctor, then there's family money.I think he'll scrape by.

“Michael R. Bromwich
Deep state Ahole traitor/”

FYI for all those pinning their hopes on the endlessly forthcoming OIG report, Bromwich was the DOJ IG from 1994 to 1999. Thats how incestuous that DC monster is.

______

Yes.

And as a matter of fact, Hillary is deeply concerned about President Trump's haunting words: ".... because you'd be in jail".

Here we have a career government lawyer complaining about a rush to judgement.

This lawyer has not been an employee of the federal government since 1999.

The current mess is the direct result of his weakness, cowardice and inaction for so long.

No the current mess is exactly the same mess we had when Sessions came on board, no better, no worse. The problem with the theory of "action", like perp walks and such like, is that perps like McCabe would skate and Trump's DOJ would look ridiculously ineffective. As it stands, McCabe seems destined for a slap on the wrist at worst, his firing may be that slap. But pretending that McCabe would be convicted by a different AG is an exercise in fantasy.
