Trump: 'Mueller probe should never have been started'

President Trump asserted on Saturday that special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia should never have been opened in the first place.

"The Mueller probe should never have been started in that there was no collusion and there was no crime," Trump wrote on Twitter.

"It was based on fraudulent activities and a Fake Dossier paid for by Crooked Hillary and the DNC, and improperly used in FISA COURT for surveillance of my campaign. WITCH HUNT!"

Marines are not the only service that has heroes or traitors.

Certainly, but that's not what I was getting at. The Marines and Trump are a team in a way that's unprecedented AFAIK. Trump met with Mueller for three hours the day before he was named as special prosecutor. Supposedly Trump was interviewing candidates for FBI director, but...three hours? Was Mueller even eligible to serve in that position again? I'm not sure, but I've heard he was not.

In any case, what I've learned over the past year+, is that when it looks like Trump has no clue and no plan, things just seem to work out as if there were magical elves behind the scenes. Elves who say, "Oorah!", I think it is.

Once again, Mueller is a Marine.
