Republican Rep. Charlie Dent (Pa.) said Saturday that the firing of Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe on Friday looked to be a "vindictive" move by the president.
In an interview with CNN, Dent said that while he would wait for the inspector general's report to judge McCabe, his firing looked like retribution from the White House.
"This firing looks a bit forced, a bit rushed. Candidly, it looks like retribution and a bit vindictive," Dent said. "And I think it's unfortunate. The man said he's resigning, you know, and on a Friday night before his 50th birthday he's fired to take away his pension? I don't like the optics of this, I really don't."
Dent added that he believed Attorney General Jeff Sessions was "browbeaten" into firing McCabe Friday night after weeks of public humiliation from President Trump.
"It looks like the attorney general may have been browbeaten into this, he's been publicly humiliated and shamed by the president on multiple occasions, and I just don't think this bodes well."

Perhaps worse than a RINO. He may be corrupt!
Do any of our ‘lawmakers’ understand the laws, at all?
Have none of them followed the bouncing ball on this sickening cabal of liars and frauds?
He’s the Jeff Flake of the House.
If only the Republicans WERE aggressive and a bit vindictive!
The Democrats should be defeated, politically eviscerated, not lived with. Not worked with.
Destroy progressivism and the DNC!
Save the nation.
Well, at least this SOB Dent is retiring after a Chicken Little opus.
Why didnt Wray fire him?
<< Dent said that while he would wait for the inspector general’s report to judge McCabe, >>
But he has no qualms about judging Trump and Sessions prematurely.

Well I hope someone is running in his place that isn’t a Democrat in disguise.
The Tuesday Group, led by Dent, are rabid opponents of the Freedom Caucus.
You apparently do not understand the OPR section of the DOJ. He will NOT get his pension— such is the nature of his actions uncovered by the Inspector General. Actions contrary to the documents he signed under OPR and also, without question completely against the law. We cannot have policemen at this level arbitrarily doing things for political reasons, which violate law and which put our National Security at risk. The clinton server did that and much more, and these bastards knew it and considered they were above the law. He will NOT get his pension back (even while serving in prison). This is NOT civil service. This is firing for proven CAUSE— major proven cause. Good day.
It’s called payback, Mr RINO. Take no prisoners. Now go back to your Dem constituents for a pet on the head.

Leave it to some piece of crap politician to care about “optics” but NOT about right, wrong or justice.
John McCain must be in really bad condition this weekend.

Ooh! Maybe he’ll drop dead and brighten up our day.
Leaders exit fuels worry for centrist Republicans
Tom Reed belongs to the Tuesday Group, Problem Solvers, and Main Street.
Busy boy. And if Reed says he's a centrist, that'll be news to his district.
Precisely correct... against the Freedom Caucus and right up tight to the Chamber of Commerce/obamacare a@@ section of perpetual bureaucracy, from which their businesses at home— like insurance agents and real estate.... benefit wildly. Could care less about manufacturing, the VA (except right at election time for photo ops) or regular working people.
Notice also they almost all come from the Rust Belt of nowhere’s ville and the retirement areas from those who had work in the Rust Belt.... two of these from S. Florida, and the Broward county HQs for Unions and retirement communities set up by union pension funds. Welcome to FL and their RINO union reps.
Well I hope someone is running in his place that isnt a Democrat in disguise.
Heck I don't even know what District I'll be in by the election. I'm sure that's part of the rats evil plan. So far we have the past and present Lehigh County Commissioners running for Republican. Both conservatives I think.
Guess Who’s Funding the Republican Civil War? Labor unions-doing it through a pro-business PAC

Charlie Dent is no Republican. He is a Hillary supporter. At best he is clueless what is going on and is going by the Deep State talking point. More likely he has numerous skeletons in his closet.
