Explanations are given in the WaPo article linked in post #2.
FWIW I’m not sure it’s Constitutional to prohibit someone from buying a gun
if they have not been convicted of a crime and being a fugitive does not necessarily mean that someone has been convicted of a crime.

more than half a million fugitives with outstanding arrest warrants to have their names removed from a national database. Imagine the outrage from the NYT and WP if 500,000 names were removed from an FBI database containing, say, (lawful) "militia" members.

Shades of Fast & Furious, increase gun crime by felons and tighten the grip on citizens in the “name of safety!”.

The same power he and Holder used to run guns to narcoterrorists in Mexico who then used the guns to murder thousands including Americans.

A soldier can be, and usually is, prosecuted for following what the soldier should have known was an “illegal” order. Why can FBI agents break the law simply because the president tells them to?

Done to increase crime and convince Americans to disable the 2nd Amendment.
I wonder how many Obama programs were started with the same objective.

Fix Nics they said. The scam is that the GOP spends more time preaching to the choir (ie seeking monetary donation in exchange for their pitches pleas to let them be democrats) than preaching freedom to America
There is a huge vacuum in education with the GOP doing nothing towards it and democrats hard nosed to dumb it down

Agreed. It's a good story for the SJWs to fight over between themselves, though.
