WaPo/Laura Ingraham reporting ...........
Great pic.
The timing is extremely significant. It is, after all, essentially the last day before McCabe ran out the clock (given the weekend). This happening today is no accident, it's a message. And I don't think the loss of the money is the principal issue, I think the loss of prestige is. On Tuesday morning McCabe was going to do his little "I got away with it" dance, and everyone in DC who was watching would have been chuckling with glee. The loss of that is the real blow.
He's out of the In Crowd either way, but at present the only thing that's holding him from the utter oblivion of being cast out of the Beltway Insiders altogether is what he has on the rest of that crowd. It may buy him a lot of under-the-table money or a sinecure on CNN, but it won't buy him back the prestige. And now he's a liability.
__________
.... bears repeating.
This IDIOT will get back more than his pension now just to spite TRUMP!!!

Let 'em bleed the fools.
He pretty much proved that nic to be true tonight.
Frankly, from my years of watching AGs, and how they should behave, AG Sessions has been exemplary.
He IS heroic, given the state of affairs weve seen as far as accountability is concerned for many decades now.
_______
Thanks for that perspective.
The firing of Andrew McCabe practically guarantees that the entire country will be reading the IG report when it comes out.
#MSM can't spin or omit the details...
McCabre is just the first, and has only started his long encounter with true justice.
Indictments next.
Followed by whimpering & more than a little peeing.
All those sources who told me Sessions wouldn't do anything just phoned in . . .
They said McCabe's wife will file for divorce so she can date Don, Jr.

Jeff must of gone to his Doctor and had his Testosterone level checked. The M.D. gave him a shot and put him on Testosterone Replacement Therapy!
Self inflicted GS to the back of the head?
Is it true that you have been honest then, Mr. McCabe?
You are over-reacting - in the extreme.
I was wrong about this one thing, and I admit it. So what?
Sessions was under severe, overt pressure to do this - and he waited till almost the last minute to do it. (Real justice does not work that way.)
Has the statute of limitations on perjury run out on Clapper? Yes. Did Sessions willfully not apply the rule of law that he supposedly cherishes? Yes.
Did Sessions gratuitously - gratuitously! - eulogize criminal (as in, committing crimes) prosecutors who persecuted Bundy, whose case was so fraught with corruption that it was thrown out with prejudice? Yes!
I do not care if he is playing 17-Dimensional Chess. His comments on the Bundy case were unforgivable for a supposed by-the-book man. He could at least have kept his mouth shut! That had nothing to do with the ostensible 3D Chess game going on in DC.
This is one step, after many mis-steps. Time will tell.
The Sessions toadies (since you like snarky terms) have so far been far more wrong than right.
I still see a multi-tier justice system, and I still see Sessions as an Institutionalist, not a Constitutionalist.
Laura Ingraham spoke for me: Instead of gloating, she said this should have happened long before now.
If Clinton and Obama are not indicted for their crimes, then we do not have justice - PERIOD! (Understand that I, a Constitutionalist, set a higher bar than the Sessions toadies for what establishes justice.)
Do you really imagine Sessions going after either of them?
I would be thrilled to be wrong about that.
That is what I think.
I do not hate Sessions. I hate what Sessions does.
That man eulogized prosecutors in the Bundy case whose conduct was so criminal that their case was thrown out WITH PREJUDICE!
I do not care what kind of game he is playing. Extolling fascist prosecutors who are persecuting an American citizen is VILE! (And the FBI which Sessions also touts actually did lie about having snipers watching him, as Bundy said.)
He did it. It is inexcusable. Get used to that.
(I guess Bundy is just a little person to you Sessions toadies, right?)
You speak for me.
At this point, I agree with you.
_____
What Bundy case? Ted?
___________
"Eulogized"? Hardly.
McCabe’s response:
We are supposed to pin a medal on Sessions because he finally, and just once, did his f****** job?
Dont bloody think so.
