Why would you WANT to address it?
They don't care what you think; they just want to... Shut You Up!!
I want to address it by finding a fast rhetorical way to shut _them_ up, dragging them - and observing bystanders - back to the absurdity of the Left’s accusations & demands.
For them, starting with an articulate (if misguided) comment and then quickly body-slamming subsequent debate into “you’re a poopy-head” is an effective technique for getting their message out and silencing opposition. Having a strong catchword like “libsplaining” (commandeering their own “mansplaining” epithet & slamming it back as an anti-liberal epithet they’ll instantly understand) angers them & puts them on the defensive, defusing their attack and forcing discussion back to the original absurdity while making clear they’re the vile one per their own terminology.
It’s an effective rhetorical block, making way for a good offense.
